Sanjeev Kumar and Rajesh Khanna: Sanjeev Kumar is one of the talented and successful actors of his time. He is still known for his characters and films. He broke the stereotype of the hero image in the 70s and 80s. Sanjeev started his career with the film Hum Hindustani. He then did many blockbuster films. The actor died of a heart attack on 6 November 1985.
Sanjeev had a tussle with superstar Rajesh Khanna. Actually, there were reports that Rajesh Khanna’s ex-girlfriend Anju Mahendru is having an affair with Sanjeev. When this rumor spread, Rajesh did not like it at all.
In an old interview, Anju reacted to the news of her affair with Sanjeev and said that Rajesh Khanna did not like the rumor of her relationship with Sanjeev. And Rajesh had believed whatever rumor there was. Anju said that she was never attracted towards Sanjeev because he was always her mother’s brother to her.

Anju further said that when Sanjeev and Rajesh worked together, the superstar slapped her out of jealousy. Anju said- I was never attracted towards Sanjeev. He was my mother’s brother to me. Actually there was an actress who spread this rumour. My ex-boyfriend believed this and remained under this misconception for years. When he worked with Sanjeev years later, he had to kill Sanjeev in a scene, but in reality he slapped Sanjeev. Sanjeev and Rajesh never got along.
